Jerry L. Dackerman
Jerry Dackerman is a member of the Advisory Board for First Capital Advisory Services. He has been a serial entrepreneur having founded six companies in the telecommunications, IT, software and management consulting sectors. He has served on the Board of Directors of several firms including New USA Mutual Fund, founded by William O'Neal, CEO of Investors Business Daily. He is currently serving as an Advisor to the NeuroLeadership Institute, a neuroscience research firm utilizing cutting edge scientific findings to assist major global enterprises deal with the accelerating pace of change and demands for organizational performance. He has been CEO of two publicly traded NASDAQ companies. He took Consortium 2000 public on the NASDAQ in 1996 utilizing a reverse merger with UStel. He has successfully exited several public and private companies including Avasta Inc. which was acquired by Navisite. He has led financial turnaroundsincluding several Fortune 500 companies in the energy, financial, software, marketing and technology sectors. Jerry has consulted to large global firms in five continents involving major corporate initiatives to elevate performance and effect large scale culture change.
He has successfully raised more than $150M in both the public and private market sectors and has been involved in the acquisition and integration of several companies including Pacific Cellular, e-printsolutions, EagleDirect and UStel. He has created strategic alliances with firms such as AT&T, MCI, Worldcom, Hewlett Packard and others. He has taught management theory at Golden Gate University and is an Advisor the the Blackstone Entrepreneurs Network. He co-authored Performance Edge with John King, author of the N.Y. Times Best Seller, Tribal Leadership. Performance Edge achieved Amazon's #1 Best Seller in the US and # 3 in the U.K. in 2018.
Jerry lives in Denver and Atlanta with his wife and daughter.
